Mia, thanks for the link! I should say that the smell is unique, but wasn't overpowering. By comparison, my viburnums bloomed heavily a week or so ago, and they truly *stank*. I sent my husband to look for the small mammal that I was convinced was dead and rotting in the vicinity, when he reminded me that the smell was from the shrubs (only stronger than usual because there were many more flowers this year). I'll take the Titan Arum any day! Cheers.
