I enjoyed the column. A good read. This is my first year growing seeds under lights, and so far my biggest delimma is watering. Too much, too little. I can't seem to get it right! Any suggestions?

Thank you, Laurie. It took me a few years to get watering right, but I've had the happiest results with watering from the bottom (in other words, water the tray, not the pots/cells), and waiting until the "soil" starts drying out just a little (but not too much) on top before watering again.
